On Thursday (January 1st), Mira dropped into my pelvis. It was like night and day. I was taking a walk. With one step she was pushing her knees into my ribs and with the next she just shifted down. Like BOOM. They call that "lightening" when the baby moves down into the pelvis and it's supposed to happen about 2-4 weeks before delivery. I think the term should be renamed. It should be called "heavying". The pressure on my bladder is worse and I feel this constant pulling sensation in my lower belly, like the ligaments are being stretched all the time. On the bright side, I can breathe while I put my socks on again.
